Working at Heights

Course Duration: 1 Day (8:00am-4:00pm)

Overview:  This course provides workers with the basic fall prevention information they require to work safely in areas where they may be exposed to fall hazards.

This course is currently approved by the Ministry of Labour of Ontario

Location: Available training locations include the GeoArc training facility located in Burlington, Ontario or a classroom facility provided by the client

Class Size: The class size for this training is up to 12 participants

Working at Heights - Refresher

Course Duration: 4 hours (9:30am-1:30pm)

Overview:  This program is intended for workers who have already completed an CPO-approved working at heights course and are registered with the MOL. Proof of registration and completion of a full Working at Heights course is a pre-requisite for this course.

The refresher course covers the use of fall protection systems approved for use in Ontario. Attendees receive up-to-date information on the legislative requirements of fall protection, including how to recognize, evaluate, and control fall hazards. They will have the opportunity to practice the fundamentals of setting up fall protection systems while inspecting fall protection equipment.
